Weather360 ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the app collects, uses, and protects information when you use Weather360.

By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Weather360 does not require a user account. Most app preferences are stored on your device, and weather-related notification registrations are limited to what is needed to send the alerts you enable.

1 Information We May Collect or Process

Depending on the features you use, Weather360 may access or process the following:

  • Location Information: If you grant permission, the app may use your current location to show local weather, minute-by-minute precipitation, widgets, and weather alerts.
  • Saved or Selected Locations: If you manually choose locations, the app stores those selections locally so it can display weather for those places.
  • Notification Preferences: If you enable notifications, the app stores your settings locally and may register limited alert subscription data with our backend so enabled weather alerts can be delivered.
  • Push Notification Token: If push notifications are enabled, Apple may assign a device token that is used only to deliver notifications you opted into.
  • Advertising Data: If ads are shown, ad requests may be handled through advertising partners such as Google AdMob, which may process data as described in their own policies.

2 How Information Is Used

We use information only to provide core app functionality, including to:

  • display local weather conditions and forecasts,
  • support minute-by-minute precipitation timing, widgets, and Live Activities,
  • send weather notifications you choose to enable,
  • save your location and app preferences on your device, and
  • maintain app functionality, security, and reliability.

3 Location Data

When permitted by you, location data is used to provide weather forecasts and alerting for your current location.

You can choose not to allow location access and instead manually select a location where supported.

We do not use location data to track you across third-party apps or websites.

4 Weather Notifications

If you enable severe weather or precipitation push notifications, the app may send limited registration data to our backend, such as location name, coordinates, notification settings, time zone, environment, and your Apple push token.

This information is used only to send the weather alerts you enabled. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings or within the app where available.

5 Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share personal information with third parties except when necessary to provide app functionality, comply with applicable law, or protect the safety, security, and integrity of the app and its users.

6 Third-Party Services

Weather360 may rely on third-party services to deliver core features, including:

  • Apple WeatherKit for weather data,
  • Apple Push Notification service (APNs) for push delivery, and
  • Google AdMob or related ad services if advertising is shown in the app.

These third parties may process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

7 Advertising

Weather360 may display ads. If so, advertising providers may collect or process information such as device identifiers, approximate location, ad interactions, or diagnostics as allowed by applicable law and their own policies.

If consent is required in your region, consent choices may be presented within the app.

8 Data Retention

Most app settings and preferences are stored locally on your device.

Notification subscription data that is needed to send enabled weather alerts may be stored on our backend for as long as necessary to support those alerts, unless removed or replaced by updated app registration data.

9 Your Choices

You can control your information in several ways:

  • disable location access in your device settings,
  • disable notifications in your device settings,
  • remove saved locations from the app, and
  • adjust advertising or consent settings where available.

10 Security

We use reasonable measures to help protect information processed by the app and related backend services. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11 Children's Privacy

Weather360 is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent where required by law. If you believe information has been provided inappropriately, please contact us so we can review the concern.

12 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date on this page.
