1 Information We Collect
Depending on which features you use, the app may access or process the following information:
- Location Information: If you grant permission, the app may access your device location to calculate prayer times, determine Qibla direction, or show nearby mosques and local Islamic information.
- Search and User-Entered Information: If you search for a city, mosque, or location, the app may process the information you type in order to return relevant results.
- Notification Preferences: If you enable notifications, the app may store your preferences on your device for Athan alerts, prayer reminders, or similar prayer-related notifications.
2 How We Use Information
We use information only to provide core app functionality, including to:
- calculate and display prayer times and related Islamic features,
- determine Qibla direction,
- show mosque or location-based results when requested by you,
- save your app settings and reminder preferences on your device, and
- maintain app functionality and basic security.
3 Location Data
When permitted by you, location data is used only for app functionality such as determining prayer times, Qibla direction, or local mosque-related results.
You can choose not to allow location access and instead manually select a location, where supported.
We do not use location data to track you across third-party apps or websites.
4 Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not share your personal information with third parties except when necessary to comply with applicable law, enforce legal rights, or protect the safety, security, and integrity of the app and its users.
5 Analytics, Crash Reporting, and Server Storage
Muslim360 does not use third-party analytics, crash reporting, or server-side storage for user data.
We do not maintain user accounts, and the app does not include login functionality.
6 Notifications
If you opt in, the app may send local or push notifications for prayer time reminders, Athan alerts, Islamic calendar reminders, or similar app-related notifications.
You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
7 Data Retention
Most app settings and preferences are stored locally on your device unless a future version of the app introduces optional cloud-based features.
Because Muslim360 does not currently use server-side storage for user data, we generally do not retain personal information on our servers.
8 Children's Privacy
Muslim360 is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent where required by law. If you believe that information has been provided inappropriately, please contact us so we can review the concern.
9 Your Choices
You can control your information in several ways:
- disable location access in your device settings,
- disable notifications in your device settings, and
- avoid using optional features that require user-entered location or mosque searches.
10 Security
We use reasonable measures to help protect information processed by the app. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11 Third-Party Services
The app may rely on platform services or content providers needed to deliver core features such as maps, notifications, or prayer time and mosque-related data. If future versions of the app add third-party SDKs or services that collect data, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
12 International Users
If you use the app outside the country where it is operated, information processed through the app may be handled in accordance with the laws of other jurisdictions.
